Zi Hao is a Chinese teenage light-skinned boy from with cyan helmet and bubble jacket with navy blue gloves on and black pants. He also wears a white, purple, black, and gray shoes. He has dark brown eyes. He also wears long gray socks.

Launched in , now he wears a red cap with an ice cream drawing on the back, a white sweater with a drawing of an ice cream on it, dark gray pants, white gloves and black-purple flip-flops.

Zi Hao is the 14th character released in 2022 after Moira, The Burger King, Super Runner Yutani, Super Runner Fresh, Super Runner Tricky, Pride Miss Maia, Super Runner Jake, Dummy, George, Pink, Charlie, Tiger, and Hasina.
He is a permanent character in Chinese version and can be unlocked via Fanbook.
In the Chinese version, his appearance is somewhat different.
He is the 4th western character to be different in Chinese version.
He is the first surfer, with the second being Thunder, the third being Skye and the fourth being Dragon.
In his scrollbar pose and animation, he is usually smiling and seems very very happy, but when you select and play as him, he has a serious looking expression for some reason, similar to Rudy Rascal, Song Yi, Mala, Spike, Bruno, Yuto, Thursday, Skye, Astra, Stella, Finn, and Electra.
For unknown reasons, he didn't get the 1st outfit in , but he returned for 25,000.
He is the fifth surfer started with 'Z', the first being Zoe, the second being Zombie Jake, the third being Zuri, and the fourth being Zayn.
He is the first surfer with improper socks, the second being Hali.
He is the 9th surfer to have animations reused for new character(s) (Faiza in ) after Rabbot, Prince K, Ramona, Maeko, Diego, Spike, Ace, and Dino.

There is a bug in where he has the "T" pose when you start using him in Subway Studio, if you click on another surfer (Like Audrey) it will mimic that characters pose. However this was later fixed in V3.35.1. The same thing happened again in , but Thursday and Dummy were glitched because they both got a new outfit.
