Super Sneakers (which look like Super Sneaker in-game) is a power-up in Subway Surfers. When collected, the player will dawn the shoes, and gain a jump boost temporarily. The player can now jump on top of trains, and jump over obstacles they would usually have to roll under to dodge (i.e. Tallest Barriers). The bottom of the shoes can collect coins under them just like a magnet, allowing the player to collect coins under them (in the lane they are on only) without even touching them, they will also be able to collect other power-ups when under those shoes. If the player collects a Jetpack before the sneakers run out, the shoes are paused, and they are not reactivated until the Jetpack runs out just like the hoverboards.

Trivia

  • When the players ride a Jetpack with a pair of Super Sneakers, every coin they'll be collecting mid-air gives them Double coins. See Glitches for more info (glitches may not work).
  • If the player gets the Super Sneakers while the Guard is chasing them, The Guard will slow down.
  • If the player jumps with the Super Sneakers while they are under a bridge, the roof of the bridge will prevent them from jumping any higher until they are out of the bridge.
    • If the player jumps with the Super Sneakers before reaching the bridge, they'll slam their heads into the bridge and get caught by The Guard. But if they are on a train, they can reach the bridge.
      • Occasionally, a player might get stuck there, and the only thing they can do to get out of there is to swipe down. This action will be counted as stumbling, meaning that the inspector will be right behind them after that.
  • If the player uses the Super Sneakers and hoverboard at the exact same time, they will get something similar to the Bouncer hoverboard, but with slight differences. It also contains two similarities. It also doesn't have a double jump, unlike the Bouncer.
  • With the Super Sneakers, they could go to places they couldn't normally go, such as on top of tunnels, which helps collect Weekly Hunt or Season Hunt tokens.
  • The shoes have an "Upwards arrow symbol" which resembles the ability of the sneakers.
  • Before the London Logo update, players were able to collect Weekly Hunt tokens from under the shoes without touching them.
    • However, after the London Logo update, that ability was removed, making it harder to collect them.
    • You can still collect Coins, Keys, and power-ups from under the shoes without touching them.
  • If the player jumps right after you collect the Super Sneakers, they will discover that their Character will jump very low.
    • Similarly, if they jump right when the sneakers wear out, they will jump very high without wearing the Super Sneakers, but they will fall very quickly too.
  • The Super Sneakers icon is slightly different from the ones to collect on the tracks.
  • This, the Power Jumper and the Jetpack are the only power-ups in the game that lets the player's character reach the sky.
    • While that, the Bouncer board is the only hoverboard to do so.
  • When players collect a Super Sneakers power and then activates a hoverboard with the Super Jump ability, the Super Sneakers’ power-up will not deplete. This is useful when they are trying to earn the High Jumper Achievements.
  • In LuoyangLogo, they dawned a new design.
  • The timer for the Super Sneakers doesn't go down until the board's timer is over is for boards that have Super Jump. (Ex. Monster, Great White)
