Subway Surfers World Tour: Underwater 2024 is the 181st World Tour of Subway Surfers and the 186th installment of the game. This update releases two new characters: Finn and Electra. Koral and Cathy have new outfits: Sub Explorer and Seaside. Also this update includes three new hoverboards: Yellow Sub, Jelly Board and Koinobori.

The Marathon Challenge takes place in , the Tag Time Attack takes place in , the Spooky Sprint takes place in , the Mystery Hurdles takes place in , the Season Challenge takes place in , the Earth Run take place in , and the No Floor Challenge takes place in .

The Season Hunt tokens are Starfish ().

This update celebrates Earth Day.
This update celebrates the Cinco de Mayo, with the new board Mayo Mania, and the Koinobori for celebrate Children's Day (子供の日) on Japan with the board Koinobori, both events celebrated on May 5th.

Bugs and fixes:
- In Marathon Challenge, Mystery Hurdles, Floor Is Lava: No Floor Challenge and Spooky Sprint says Tag Time Attack while playing the event.
- If your selected character can not breathe underwater and you go to the Season Challenge, the bubble will carry onto the selected characters in the challenge despite the characters there being able to breathe underwater. This was later fixed in v3.28.1.
- Finn and Electra are sea creatures and can breathe underwater; the bubbles they wear in the trailer are a mistake and have been fixed in the final version of this upgrade.
- There was an error regarding of Finn's and Electra's "MEET THE CREW" pages where they are supposedly surfers and not surfers.
- Koral's Sub Explorer Outfit has the same error as Hasina's Holiday, George's Eggstravaganza, Moira's Holi and Alexandre's Stan Outfits in Subway Studio.
