Subway Surfers World Tour: Subway Classic 2024, is the 186th installment of the game. This update brings back the classic map from the first versions of the game. It releases 4 new surfers: Hammy-Bee, Pixel Jake, Ballerina Tricky and Guard King and 5 new boards: Mayo Mania, Pixel Hoverboard, Street Grace, Alarm On and 12th Birthday.


The Marathon Challenge takes place in , the Tag Time Attack takes place in , the Mystery Hurdles takes place in , the Season Challenge takes place in , the One Run Challenge take place in , the Plant Invasion: No Floor Challenge take place in , and the No Floor Challenge takes place in .

The Season Hunt token are Cap ().

  • This is the 7th update of 2024.
  • This is the second unknown continent update of 2024 after .
  • It is also the second unknown continent update of 2024 to be released in a row.
  • This is the first time is re-released in the 2020's decade.
  • After 12 years,  made an official return in Subway Surfers.
    • So far, this is the city that has taken the longest to return in Subway Surfers, and the first to return after nearly 12 years.
  • This is the 4th time is released (, Classic: Halloween, Classic: Holiday and ).
  • This is the 3rd re-release of (Classic: Halloween, Classic: Holiday and ). This is also the first time it was re-released with the original map.

He is currently described as a "Special Surfer". He was originally described as "Subway Classic Surfer", and he didn't even appear in any trailer, the reason of this is unknown. The same situation happened with Mala which would be launched in and it was only launched later in .
  • This edition sees the return of the Super Runners and Rivals, first released in and .
  • This is the first edition where there's no limited characters in Wordy Weekend.
  • The 8-bit Subway Surfers remix was the default soundtrack for this edition when it originally got released. However in v3.29.1, it was changed to the classic Subway Surfers theme. The classic Subway Surfers theme was also moved up to the top of the boombox music list.

    • It's also the first update to have joke soundtracks (Gaurd and Dog Remix)
  • This is the second 2024 update to not re-use the metro trains and boxed trains.
