Subway Surfers World Tour: Shenzhen 2024, also known as Shenzhen Showdown, is the 1st 2024 World Tour season (and the 176th in the Subway Surfers game).

In this edition, the crew travels to Shenzhen, China 🇨🇳.

This edition releases two new limited surfers: Skye (for 5 stages in Season Challenge), a street racer girl, and Thunder (for 5 stages in ), her teammate; and three new limited boards: Skyrocket (for 3 stages in Season Challenge), Electro Shock (for 80 ) and Bada-Bomb (for 20 days).

The Season Hunt tokens for this edition are Showdown Logos ().

This is the first Asian update of 2024 with coming after.
This is the only update in China in 2024.
This update introduced The Furies racing team, featuring Skye (Racer 1) and Thunder (Racer 2).
This update released the character from the Chinese version, Skye, whose original name is Ai Jiahua (艾嘉桦) and she is from the Space Station (空间站) 2021 update.
- This is the ninth update to release a character from the Chinese version after (Rin), (Ace), (Mimi), (Maeko), (Amy), (Ming and Liu), (Qin and Hou) and (Alexandre) with (Tang Yuan) coming after.
- Unlike the previous ones, Skye has an updated design and animation (second after Alexandre).
This is the second update with the collaboration x PlanetPlay x J Balvin after .
- The track DIENTES by J Balvin is back in the boombox and J Balvin character with J Balvin (Superstar Board) hoverboard are back in the Bundle.
Thunder has the same idle animations as Maeko (default and Street outfit).
This is the second destination with the racing theme after .
This is the first update since to have a border on the logo.
The SYBO logo can be seen in the map.
This is the first edition since to not have a new outfit.

In the trailer, the Skyrocket board has the Smooth Drift ability, but in the game, for unknown reasons, it was replaced with Super Speed.
A new power-up, Super Bubble, was added in 3.23.1. for some players.
On January 23rd 2024, the Soundtrack 2023 Album was published, along with two bonus soundtracks, and , which have no Rivals theme (Bruno and Hali), and they are similar to the and soundtracks, but fully remixed.
This update featured the "Craft-A-Character" contest with "Gaming Geeks" theme, which was won by @ghostdog.s with Hammy-Bee character, which was released in .
Bugs and fixes:
- Neo-Seoul is invisible for some players.
- When you unlock a character or a board from this update, it will not be marked that you have owned it, it will still showing "view", however this was fixed in 3.24.1.
