Subway Surfers World Tour: Rome is the third installment in the Subway Surfers World Tour series and the eighth update of the game.
It was available for free, for a limited time. It included a new character, Roberto, who was also only available in this edition, and is worth 95,000. It also included 3 new hoverboards, there are 2 limited hoverboards, Chicky, costing 100 and Kick-Off, costing 50,000, and the newest non-limited hoverboard, Scoot, costing 35,000. There was a limited Egg Hunt mission that rewards players with the Chicky hoverboard after they collect 100 (easter egg)s. This update also brought the ability to upgrade power-ups by the 6th tiers, instead of only 5. It was released on 28 February 2013.

- This is the first edition to be placed in Europe.
- Chicky was the first limited board to be collected in a Weekly Hunt, the others being Cherry, Dragon, Rudy, Jingles and Medal.
