Subway Surfers: Lunar New Year 2023 is the 159th edition of the World Tour series and the 164th edition of Subway Surfers.

This edition have a new limited character called Rabbit as a Season Hunt prize (costing 400 on tier 30). Bonnie returns costing 20.000 and receives a new outfit, called Lucky Outfit, which costs 35.000 . George returns as a Season Hunt prize (costing 75 on tier 10) and receives a new outfit, called Moonbun Outfit, which costs 15.000 . Festive Frank returns in a bundle and receives a new outfit, called Fortune Outfit, which costs 150 . Rabbot returns as a prize of the Tag Time Attack and receives a new outfit, called Ironbun Outfit, which is also unlocked in the Tag Time Attack. Ox, Tiger, Rat, Coco, Paint Palette, Qin, Rin, Hou, and Harumi and Bubblegum returns in bundles, and Ox, Tiger, Rat and Bonnie (and her outfits) are part of the Crew Bonus.

This update introduces a new event, the Mystery Hurdles, in this update, the event are in .

The Marathon takes place in , the first Tag Time Attack takes place in , and the second Tag Time Attack takes place in .

The Season Hunt tokens are Paper Lanterns ().
