Subway Surfers World Tour: London 2023 is the 176th World Tour of Subway Surfers and the 178th installment of the game. This update released two new characters: Vivienne, the fashionista, and Lawrence, a performance artist, who is the fourth and final member of the Rivals Crew and the rival of Tricky, a new outfit for Alia: Sneaky Blinders and two new boards: Fauxpunx and Sharpeed, the last Rivals board.

The Marathon Challenge takes place in and , the Tag Time Attack takes place in , the Hoverboard Challenge takes place in , the Mystery Hurdles takes place in , the last Rivals Challenge takes place in , the Plant Invasion: No Floor Challenge takes place in , and the One Run Challenge takes place in .

The Season Hunt tokens are Telephone Boxes ().

In the original trailer, there was a sign for the London Underground, but then the trailer was set to unlisted and re-uploaded with the gameplay footage of the sign removed. In the game it was replaced by a generic sign instead. This is likely because the logo is trademarked and SYBO could get in trouble with London transportation authorities for infringement.
- The old trailer was left in Google Play.
- The London Underground sign can still be seen in SYBO's livestream.
- In the App Store and Google Play photos, there is no underground or tube text.
Vivienne and Fauxpunx board were inspired by the character Cruella de Vil from the film Cruella and One Hundred and One Dalmatians, and the film actually takes place in London.
Originally the soundtrack was going to be rock music like but this was scrapped because it didn't fit London so it was changed to a softer song but it still used the same guitar melody and chords.
Alia's Sneaky Blinders outfit is inspired by Peaky Blinders.
This update introduced the last rival, Lawrence and is the final update to feature the Rivals Challenge after , and .
- This is the second Rivals Challenge to take place in the Europe, the first being .
Unlike , and , although this city featured the Rivals event because Lawrence the final Rival was released in this update, the soundtrack wasn't based on the Rivals Theme, making it the only update to not feature such a version.
This edition was released one day before and .
Alia's skin got darker and details were added to her ear. All the colors in her texture have been darkened and saturated.
In this update, the menu comes with a wind of autumn leaves, similar to .
The Plant Invasion soundtrack was added to Boombox.
Dientes (J Balvin) soundtrack was removed from Boombox.
In V3.21.1, the Outfit icons were changed to photos of the Characters.
Black Friday Bonanza Bundles are almost the same promos as Birthday Bonanza Bundles from , some of the characters were replaced:
- Jaro is replaced by Yuto.
- Jasmine and Marco were replaced by Rain and Fantasma.
- Mimi and Alia were replaced by Rosa and Rabbit.
- The Cyber Monday bundle in the Black Friday Bonanza had no characters from the Birthday Bonanza in .
Prior to , this was the last edition to mark a return of a legacy destination.
This is the last edition to have Bob The Blob's old animations, and their broken expressions from .
Bugs and fixes:
- Retro Orange, Neo-Seoul and K-Dillac animations in menu boards fixed.
- Snow Cloud's trail is bugged.
- Nicolai's staff in his Frost Outfit is bugged, but in Subway Studio it's fine.
- Season Collections wasn't updated for some users, although it was eventually fixed later in the day.
- The vines in the floor sometimes disappear.
