Starboard is a hoverboard which is also a free gift to anyone who downloads Subway Surfers. Like any other hoverboard, it protects you from crashing for 30 seconds. When crashed, it will explode and needs to recharge for a few seconds before it can be used again. Starboard was introduced during Subway Surfers: Holiday.

During the , it received a board upgrade, called Star Trail, which is free.

During the , it received a new board upgrade, called Double Jump which costs 45.

Appearance

It's quite basic, with three yellow stars on a green background (as written in its name). When the Star Trail upgrade is equipped, it gains a star-shaped thing on the back that shoots out stars. the Double Jump upgrade adds two hoses on each side as well as a front section with a fourth star.

History

• Starboard was added to the game on December 1, 2012 with the Holiday update.
• On August 28th, 2014, the update gave it a new upgrade called "Star Trail".
• On October 9th, 2014, the update gave it a new upgrade called "Double Jump".

• Starboard and Superhero were the first hoverboards to receive upgrades.
• This board's Star Trail upgrade is the only free upgrade in the game so far.
• It is the second free hoverboard, the first being the default hoverboard.
