- Also this may be related to a play on words, because "New York" sounds similar to "New Year".
Starting with 2021, there are no New Year special World Tour editions anymore, it's because the Christmas updates last not three, but four weeks, and a part of them always falls at the beginning of the next year (January).
- But there are some New Year special promotions, bundles, sales, etc. Also released Captain Flash and Flash Jet, which are Christmas special surfer and board, but actually a New Year special too, since they were released on December 26th, 2023, in the New Year Challenge.
