I do the same, download old apk's and just grind because I miss those updates.

@Sanjay Korrapati14 Hoping both new and old surfers get more outfits, than just new ones which SYBO may do.
Old: Bjarki, Philip, Freya & Marco.
New: Pink, Cleo, Bob the Blob & Alfie.

So I had this...weird...idea about the Birthday update and the three after that.
So before, I wanted more pixel surfers this year like a Spike, Fresh or Frank...but then I realised...
Copenhagen 2025, which I think is the most likely return, can have a new Danish surfer...and Jak, as an actual surfer as he already has a board.
Edinburgh 2025, my guess for Pride besides Hollywood, can have a new fan special character, another new surfer matching the update and Trixie, the weird version of Tricky.
New Destination 2025 can have a new surfer, and Frish, weird Fresh.
Chicago 2025 can have a new surfer and Yutoona, weird Yutani.
Won’t happen but it’d be funny anyways, could build up for something big like with Classic last year and it turns out to be...that.
@Slayarts.slay You know it could that Mala situation, since her name has “Seattle Surfer” underneath before her official release as a “Vancouver Surfer”.
This may be the same thing but Dinorange could instead be a “Ireland Surfer”, “Special Surfer” or “13th Birthday Surfer”.
Please don't hate or be rude in the comments, I actually like this change and hope it doesn't get switched back, for now anyways!
And I was just as sceptic as you guys, but actually, I think it's a good thing. It may be update the the ordinary way, or not, since SYBO still brings new content with a paywall.
But I love this idea, I like some outfits but not the default or characters themselves, so it's much better. And if you want to purchase a specific outfit, you can do so without having to get the character itself.
All I think they should fix is:
1. Bring back the ordinary prices, as it is way too much currency to be spending, 75 or 100 keys are way too much.

5th Update: Monaco (Easter)
6th Update: Ireland (No Easter Theme)
7th Update: Copenhagen (13th Birthday)
8th Update: Venice Beach (Pride)

@TheZambieLord The destination is so fun, I seriously don't mind it being re-released three times in a row as long as the map and theme aren't changed drastically.
@MattyBPlayzRBLX I actually enjoyed what they were going for with Oxford 2023, didn't seem as repetitive with the map looking more like Spring in Hogwarts.
So I see some people getting Dinorange, and wanted to know how it's done in the files! Please answer because he looks SO COOL and I do want him.
Also saw for some players that it stated “Underwater Surfer”...so they’re going back FOR A THIRD TIME IN A ROW to Underwater?

So a lot of players are aware of changing the default map through File Manager +, going into tower and game data, stuff like that.
But for me, it doesn't appear, the game data bit so I can't change. There was this app I used so often but it stopped updating after about Rio 2023 and now is deleted from the app store.
So the thing is, did SYBO delete it permanently? Do you have it but I don't, and if so, why?
I know Ronnier David's method of changing the event cities as well as the game modes themselves, which I use as a substitute.
