I discovered this after watching tap kenmee's teaser video.  😱

So Washington D.C. is supposed to release any minute now in the App Store so that just made me realize...

It is the first legacy destination and we are literally half way through the year.

Now honestly, I think we should’ve already gotten one or two before hand since SYBO promised it in their ‘Things To Come In 2025’ video but this year has been mostly disappointing.

I think they will follow in the footsteps of last year now with two legacies in August and a new destination in September with July having a re-release.

But the flower board in the new update (even though it's a Washington D.C. board) kinda reminds me of Amsterdam so yeah.

I think in August we may get Prague or Rome or even both, but I think we will get North Pole this year again which I am honestly fine with it although I wanted the Winter Holiday night-themed variation.

Please don't let it be Barcelona, ​​I don't want to go to this destination again 😭

The anniversary update will bring back 21 destinations!

What do you think the destinations will be?

Will there be legacy destinations like Bali and Berlin?

Looks like the next update might be Copenhagen because they used bicycles for this image and the season hunt tokens used in 2023 were bicycles.

I don't have the new update yet, so I'll have to wait but...what do you mainly want to happen in the next update, which I believe may be Copenhagen.

Someone can post the teaser in the comments if they like, I don't really bother at all getting spoiled. But I personally would really love if the Super Runners events returned because that was my favourite time of Subway Surfers.

I also would really love it if two surfers got outfits instead of one, and the ones I’d like are Trym and Sindri, personally.

Does Osaka last only one week? Because the description of the trailer says “Join the crew for a golden week in Osaka.”

There are 3 teaser of it!

The first one: that's not just a crab, that image is very similar to Kani Doraku crab restaurant's signboard! This restaurant is in Osaka, Japan, so we already know the location. And it's gonna be a new destination in Japan yaaay!!! Also it's Kodomo no Hi (Children's Day in Japan) soon, so the update most likely will celebrate it (in 2024 there was the new Koinobori board from Underwater). 🇯🇵🦀🎏

The next two ones are characters video-teasers: so we see two new surfers (most likely a girl and a boy) who are inspired by some popular anime cartoons (I dont't watch anime so idk much about it). Also there's a reference to Pokémon in these teasers (many people thought there'll be a collab, but I think that's just some references to most popular anime shows since the next update is Japanese). There also was Classic Main Theme music instead of a new soundtrack, which is strange but I think that they just wanted to not spoil the soundtrack.

Let's wait for the trailer on April 17th (tomorrow) to finally check out this update!
