I can mark Hammy-Bee and Vivienne off my wishlist 🤭🩷
This list states who owns/shares each board.
Oni Hime -> Trespasser
Saru -> Mizu Dash/Mizudash
Thunder -> Zapline
I also created a new page for this too.
What an interesting design for a Hoverboard, right? Its name is "ESSENTIAL"
I found a sneak peek on YouTube and I found out that 11 special characters will be available on Monday. There will be other add-ons too such as the hoverboard and the jetpack. Here is the list below:
Akira
Boombot
Ella
Frank
Fresh
Jake
Jake Chicken
Skye
Tagbot
Tricky
Yutani
Now, I wonder why Crossy Road decided to add only a few characters and why they chose these specific characters.
A few days before the 2025 Easter update, in addition to the boards that have already been revealed in the trailer, there is a fourth board that will be released on the day, and I think I already know what this new board will be.
Trivia: Naga is my 190th hoverboard

Is it really neccesary to add this "Like any other hoverboard, it protects you from crashing for 30 seconds. When crashed, the hoverboard will explode and will need to recharge for a few seconds before being used again." in every single one of them?
I was editing some boards pages and notices some of the newer ones dont have that explanation, while older ones do. (I added them for Shamrock Shebang and Megga Bite).
While I understand that information is a crucial part of the game, and such an important mechanic, I dont feel that it needs to be put in every single one of them: because all boards work the same way no matter the upgrades. If you crash with them, you'll have to wait to use it again.
EDIT: My suggestion is to remove that extract from all hoverboard pages, and add it in the main Hoverboards section.
Thanks for reading, and let me know what you think.
Fun Fact: Ginger is the first 100% legal character that I get because my current progress started from Hollywood and in that update instead of 15m it was only 1.45m to unlock the character and in each update the amount increased and in this update it was the first time I had to go 15m
The international version doesn't have a character fixed hoverboard, so how do we determine which hoverboard is which character?
I have a feeling it's a cosmetic power-up. But I don't know if it has always been like this, since this Wiki claimed that it could prevent players from stumbling into obstacles. When I tested it today, the surfer can still stumble onto obstacles like traffic poles.
So when I checked the edit history for Zap Sideways, an anonymous user claimed in 2020 that Zap Sideways could actually prevent players from stumbling into obstacles, and I don't know why that claim survived without anyone verifying this.
So I'm thinking about reverting the description to "it's only a visual effect", but for now my edit will be like this (used to be functional but now it's not) until we can get the clarification that Zap Sideways has always been purely cosmetic.
